Welcoming new leadership.

Effective today, our Board Secretary, Richard Lukins, has been appointed Deputy Chair of the Sunshine Trust and will step in as acting Chair. Brad Robertson is stepping aside from his role as Chair during the Farrer By-election, in which he is a candidate.

With his own cancer journey, Richard understands the realities faced by local people and their families who are touched by cancer.

Richard has been a Board member for several years and is dedicated to helping the Sunshine Trust continue our mission of supporting the best possible cancer care for people in our local region.

As an independent and 100% local charity, the Sunshine Trust continues to value the generous support we receive from our local community and looks forward to being guided by Richard’s leadership.
