Terry Socks it to Cancer

● Overview

Terry Greaves continues to give back!

In January 2020, Terry Greaves was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma and given just six weeks to live.

But with life-saving treatment including immunotherapy at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, Terry's life expectancy has increased to up to five years.

As a way of giving back, Terry, a former Ovens & Murray league star, is encouraging sporting clubs throughout the Albury-Wodonga region to take part in the annual Terry Socks it to Cancer, and wear bright pink or yellow socks in support of the Sunshine Trust.

Players and umpires will wear specially coloured socks to raise money and awareness for the Sunshine Trust. All sporting codes and organisations are welcome to participate in socking it to cancer.

Buy a pair of the colourful Terry Socks it to Cancer socks, or to make a donation in support of this worthy cause to provide access to cancer treatment and support within the region.

Join us for Terry Socks it to Cancer, our fun and colourful annual fundraiser.

Order your socks or netball bibs from us and get involved.

Never Let a Crisis Go to Waste

Draw inspiration from the real-life experiences of our local heroes touched by cancer.

Terry turned his life-changing diagnosis into positivity, sharing his story with others. The ups, the downs, the memories and long-lasting effects, he lays it all bare in this book, Never let a Crisis Go to Waste.

Terry hopes others will be able to find positivity and perhaps a new way to look at life as they and their family navigate their cancer journey.
