Tim Fischer Memorial Scholarship
The Tim Fischer Memorial Scholarship honours the late Tim Fischer, who was passionate about rural and regional Australia and a long-time champion of the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, before he lost his battle with myeloid leukemia in 2019.
The Tim Fischer Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a nurse or health-care professional working within the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, for a fully funded Master of Cancer Sciences, through the University of Melbourne.
The Master of Cancer Sciences is Australia's first cancer-specific, multidisciplinary and wholly online program; and is one of only two such online programs in the world, designed to be completed whilst the participant is still working.
If you are interested in applying contact Karen AWRCC@awh.org.au.
Application Closed 1st June 2026.
