Every person diagnosed with cancer in our regional community can have access to high quality cancer treatment and support services close to home and their loved ones.
Mission
To raise funds to support cancer services in the Albury Wodonga region to provide quality care to people and families.
Purpose
We encourage and support our community to improve local cancer services.
We manage and allocate the funds raised to help provide the best outcomes for local people with cancer.
To actively promote fund raising opportunities in the community including the establishment of partnership arrangements with appropriate businesses and organisations
To invest Trust funds in accordance with accepted government guidelines
To liaise closely with the governing body of the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre to ascertain need priorities
To proactively contribute to improvement in care by providing funds to purchase specialist equipment and resources
To stimulate the training of care based professionals by supporting appropriate development programs
To support unique projects for further care, particularly research
To operate the Trust Fund in accordance with the requirements of the constitution

● Supporting Our Region
All cancer service providers in the region are eligible to receive funding from the Sunshine Trust
The Sunshine Trust fully funds the Wellness Centre and its supportive care programs at the AWRCC. We fund research and clinical trials and to provide the opportunity for staff to further their knowledge through training opportunities, conferences, and scholarships. We provide funding for the purchase of new, life-saving medical equipment.
All cancer service providers in the region are eligible to receive funding from the Sunshine Trust.
